How long does the certification process take?
Typically 4 to 10 weeks from application to certificate issuance, depending on the size of the organization and how ready its documentation is. The exact timeline is given to you in writing in the quote, before the audit begins.
Are your certificates recognized outside Albania?
Yes. Certificates are issued within internationally recognized schemes and are routinely accepted in tenders and in business dealings with foreign partners. Their validity can be verified online by anyone.
How much does ISO certification cost?
The cost is based on the number of employees, the number of units/sites and the complexity of your processes — not a fixed price. The initial assessment and the quote are free and without obligation.
What happens after I receive the certificate?
The certificate is valid for 3 years. During this period, annual surveillance audits are carried out, shorter than the initial audit, to confirm that the system is still being implemented. At the end of the cycle, recertification takes place.
Do you also offer consulting to prepare the system?
No — as an independent certification body, we cannot provide consulting on systems we later certify, as that would compromise impartiality. We offer training and guidance on the requirements of the standard, and point you toward permitted solutions.
How can I verify that a certificate is genuine?
Send the certificate number to info@e-cert.al and we will confirm its status — active, suspended or withdrawn — along with the scope of certification. You can also check it on our verification page.
